We buy ugly houses near me — Richmond, VA

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When we look at your property, we aren't just checking the address. We evaluate the current condition of the foundation, roof, and major systems like plumbing or electrical. If your home needs significant repairs, that affects our offer because we take on the cost of those renovations ourselves. The local market demand and how quickly houses are selling in your specific neighborhood play a role as well. We want to be fair, so we look at the potential after updates versus what the home needs right now. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

This refers to companies that specialize in purchasing homes that require significant repairs or updates. If your property has outdated systems, fire damage, or foundation issues, traditional buyers may avoid it. These investors buy the home in its current condition, meaning you don't have to pay for cleaning, painting, or major renovations before selling. It is a practical solution for owners who do not have the time or money to fix up a distressed property.
